Learning Disability Assessments

Learning Disability assessments for 6 to 16 year olds; Dyslexia (Reading), Dyscalculia (Math) and Dysgraphia (Writing).  Cost $3,000

  • Assessment process:
    • Psycho-educational evaluation (in-person IQ testing and academic achievement testing). Approximately 2 to 4 hours.
    • In person, phone or online parent interview. Approximately 1 hour.
    • Forms about behavior will be sent to parents, teachers, and other relevant persons in your child’s life, which will then be scored and integrated into the final report.
    • When warranted, phone or email interviews with teachers regarding their child’s performance at school.
  • Parents will receive:
    • A several page report that can be presented to possible intervention specialist(s) (schools, pediatricians, psychiatrists, insurance company, etc.).
    • In person or online explanation of the examiner’s findings.
    • Recommendations about where to seek out services to address your child’s diagnosis.
ADHD Assessment

ADHD Assessment for 5 to 18 year olds.  Cost $3,000

  • Assessment process:

Independent Educational Evaluation

Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) assessment for 5 to 21 year olds: Estimated cost $2,500-$3,000 (The price will depend on the service and work with the school.) This is an evaluation conducted by a neutral, third-party professional not affiliated with the school district.  It can be used to help obtain, but not guarantee, services.  Parents can request, through their school district, that an evaluation be completed by a specific third party.
